With the planned intervention, it is aimed to recover the skin with threads made of polylactic acid material applied under the skin, to improve sagging and to achieve a tighter skin with the increase in collagen production stimulated over time.

Before the procedure, it is determined in which direction the threads will be applied with the appropriate technique to the targeted and corrected areas. That area is disinfected and only the entry and exit points of the needles at the end of the threads are anesthetized with the local anesthesia method. Then, under sterile conditions, the threads are applied 5 mm under the skin and manual manipulations are performed for the recovery of those areas. After the procedure, antibiotic creams are applied to the entry and exit areas of the needles, and the procedure is terminated.

In this method, minimal pain, edema and bruises in the application area of ​​the patients after the procedure seems to be an excellent choice in aesthetic applications when used in selected appropriate patients.

Thread lift method is generally ideal for people aged 30-60 years who do not have very dense tissue sagging and deep facial lines. Especially in patients who need a serious operation such as facelift with aesthetic surgery, the aesthetic results to be obtained as a result of this method are very few. Classical facelift operations are still the most ideal choice for patients with significant tissue loss, collapses and sagging skin on the face.

The application time is approximately 30-45 minutes for the entire face, so it can be applied even during lunch breaks or weekends.

Side effects of thread facelift-lift method;

There may be slight shrinkage and small dimple-shaped collapses in the treated area, which are temporary and self-correcting within 3-7 days. Apart from this, there may be bruising, which may last up to 1 week, due to the application of the needle under the skin. Pre-evaluation of the patients is made in this direction before the application (such as discontinuation of drugs such as blood thinner aspirin before the application)

Also, a slight swelling may be observed. Finally, there is always a small risk of infection when skin treatments are performed.

There may be a general feeling of discomfort or mild pain, which may last for about 1 week during and after treatment.

Although it is very rare, a slight bleeding may be observed during or after the application.

Feeling the sutures from the outside: The threads used are placed so deep in the skin that they cannot be felt with the eye or the hand. In practice, this side effect may develop due to incorrectly superficial placement of the threads. In this case, the spontaneous disappearance period of the thread is expected or the threads are removed.

During the healing process, there may be lightening or darkening of the surrounding skin. This is usually temporary, but in very rare cases this tone change can be permanent. Sun protection is very important.

Conditions to be Considered After the Treatment

After the application, it is possible to return to daily activities immediately. Opening the mouth too wide or making exaggerated gestures should be avoided in the first 10 days. Until 3 weeks after the procedure, it is requested to avoid rubbing the face and lying on the face. Do not put too much pressure on the face. At the end of these 3 weeks, you can start to move the treated areas normally. It is natural to have some swelling, redness or bruises in the first few days after the procedure and it is recommended to apply ice compresses to reduce them. The discomfort that the patient will feel on his face is at a minimum level compared to other surgical operations. If any pain is felt, painkillers can be used. On the first day after the procedure, keeping the head elevated with the support of a few pillows, especially while sleeping, helps to reduce swelling.

Although the results are partially noticed right after the procedure, the actual result can be seen after a few weeks. The natural collagen formation in the skin tissue is gradually strengthened around the threads, helping to create a lift that will have a permanent effect for the first six months.
